Custom, Clean & Classic: Uniforms to compliment our Luxe service

In 2018 our Guest Experience Department began creative on a new Cabin Attendant uniform concept. The journey was long, but exciting, as we created design concepts that were contemporary, timeless and in line with Silver Air’s branding.

After months of discussion, research and design, we decided upon a custom dress which we felt exemplified old world charm, whilst still providing practicality and a fresh modern look. The dress is a statement piece with a ¾ sleeve and nipped-in waist.

To assist in ensuring our vision came to life we recruited Ex-Alexander McQueen designer, Elle Waldmann, for pattern assistance.

Once our pattern was complete we then began the hunt for the right colored fabric and production team. We went to fabric shows, fabric mills and meet with manufacturers. We remained hands-on throughout the entire process to ensure that everything stayed on brand and that we partnered with the right people to achieve our vision. We originally rolled out our new Cabin Attendant Uniform in early 2019.

To complement our new custom dress we designed a custom ombré scarf which incorporates Silver Air’s signature colors. We also sourced a luxurious full-length grey wool boarding coat which is perfect for those colder months when traveling to places like Moscow, Russia (a commonly traveled route for Silver Air).

As our Guest Experience Department continues to grow and with recent male additions to our team we were excited to begin researching and designing new styles to add to our collection.

This week we are excited to launch our new power suit for women and complimentary custom 3-piece suit for men. Our gorgeous, sleek new suits are made with premium merino wool that is fully traceable to the farm. Sourced from the Beaufront farm in Tasmania and woven by an eco-conscious mill in Italy, this is wool that is consciously manufactured from start to finish.
